Avogadro’s Hypothesis and Molar quantities.
I. Equal volumes of all gases under the same conditions of temperature and pressure contain equal number of molecules.
II. Avogadro’s number (NA) is approximately 6.022 × 10²³.
III. The standard molar volume of an ideal gas at STP is 22.4 liters.
IV. The gas constant R is equal to the product of Avogadro’s number and Boltzmann’s constant (R = NA kB).
V. The density of a gas at fixed T and P is inversely proportional to its molar mass.
