I. According to this principle, the dimensions of each term on both sides of a correct physical equation must be the same.
II. We can add or subtract physical quantities only if they have the same dimensions.
III. The arguments of trigonometric, logarithmic, and exponential functions must be dimensionless.
IV. Dimensional homogeneity guarantees that an equation is physically correct.
V. If an equation is dimensionally incorrect, it must be physically incorrect.
