a. Lymphocytes and monocytes are the two types of granulocytes.

c. B and T lymphocytes are responsible for the immune responses of the body.
d. Platelets are also called thrombocytes.
e. Platelets are cell fragments produced from megakaryocytes in the bone marrow.
f. Blood normally contains 1,500,00 – 3,500,00 platelets mm⁻³.
g. A reduction in the number of platelets can lead to clotting disorders.
