The platform
Which exams does YoExam cover?
NEET is live right now, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You get past year questions chapter by chapter, topic wise practice and full mock tests. JEE Main and CUET are on the way.
How many questions are in the bank?
Every chapter of the syllabus is covered, across Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and we keep adding more.
How are the questions organised?
By subject, chapter, topic and difficulty. So if one chapter is letting you down, you can practise just that, instead of wading through everything else to find it.
What do I get at the end of a practice session?
Quite a bit more than a score. You see your accuracy, how many you got right, wrong and skipped, your average time per question, and how you did across the different question types and difficulty levels. One thing worth knowing is that accuracy counts only the questions you actually checked, not the whole chapter. Check ten and get nine right and that reads as 90 percent, even in a chapter of 200. Under all of that, every question you saw is sorted into Correct, Wrong and Skipped tabs. Open any one of them to see the options, what you picked, the right answer and the explanation.
Can I track my progress over time?
Yes. Your dashboard keeps your accuracy, how many questions you have done, the time you have put in and your streak, and the leaderboard shows your rank. After every session you also get a breakdown by question type and difficulty, which shows you where the marks are slipping.
Can I save a practice session and finish it later?
Yes. Stop wherever you like and pick up from the same question later, with your answers and your timer exactly where you left them. Mock tests work differently, though. A test is one timed sitting, so it cannot be paused.
Does the test interface match the real exam?
Yes. Tests run in a replica of the NTA computer based test console, down to the colour coded question palette and the way you move between questions. The point is that nothing on exam day feels new.
Accounts
Do I need an account?
Yes, if you want your progress kept. Practising, tracking your accuracy and resuming a session all depend on us knowing whose progress it is.
I am under 18. Can I use YoExam?
Yes, with your parent or guardian on board. The law asks a parent or guardian to agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy for anyone under 18, so please show them before you sign up. If you go premium, they should be the one who pays.
Can I share my account with a friend?
Please do not. An account is meant for one person, and sharing your login goes against the Terms. It can get the account suspended, and no refund comes with that.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and choose Delete Account. It happens right away and takes your progress, bookmarks and saved sessions with it, so there is no undo. The Privacy Policy explains the little we are required to keep for tax reasons.
Payment and plans
Is there really a free plan?
Yes, genuinely. You get the first chapter of every unit, custom tests of up to 25 questions, and the same results analysis premium students get. No card needed, and no trial period counting down in the background.
What does premium cost?
₹499 for 12 months, and ₹899 for 24 months. Prices are in Indian Rupees. The Pricing page has the full details.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. You pay once, for a fixed term. Nothing is set up to renew on its own and we never store your card. When the term ends you simply go back to the free plan, and everything you have practised stays with you.
Is my card information safe?
Razorpay handles the payment from start to finish. Your card number, UPI PIN, CVV and bank details never reach us at all.
When do I get access after paying?
Straight away, usually within a few seconds of Razorpay confirming the payment. The Shipping & Delivery Policy covers this.
Can I get a refund?
Not for a change of mind once premium is active, because the content reaches you in full the moment you pay. But anything that is our fault gets refunded: being charged twice, money leaving your account without access arriving, a payment you never made, or a paid feature that stops working and we cannot fix. Have a read of the Refund & Cancellation Policy before you pay. The free plan is there so you can try things properly first.

I think an answer is wrong. What do I do?
Hit the Report button on that question. It reaches us with the question already attached, which is far quicker to check than an email trying to describe it. We do read them.
Is YoExam affiliated with NTA or NCERT?
No. We are independent, with no affiliation to or endorsement from NTA, NCERT, CBSE or any examination authority. The Disclaimer says more.
Will YoExam guarantee me a good rank?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. This is a practice tool, hopefully a good one, but the result comes down to the work you put in.
