Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of https://yoexam.com and the YoExam platform (the “Service”), run by Govind Dev, a sole proprietor trading as YoExam (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a payment, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy, which together are the whole agreement between us. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. They are accepted when you create an account or pay, and do not need a physical or digital signature.

1. Who may use YoExam

• You need a valid email address, and the information you give us must be accurate.
• If you are under 18, Indian law does not let you enter a binding contract on your own. Your parent or lawful guardian must read these terms and the Privacy Policy and agree to them on your behalf before you create an account, and must be the one to make any payment. By letting you use YoExam, they accept these terms for you.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• Accounts are personal. Sharing your login so several people can use one paid account is a breach of these terms (see section 6).
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it ends any premium term still running; the Refund & Cancellation Policy explains what that means for a refund.

3. The free plan and Premium

• 1 Year Premium: ₹499, for 12 months from the date your payment is confirmed.
• 2 Year Premium: ₹899, for 24 months from the date your payment is confirmed.

What each plan includes is listed on the Pricing page. The description shown when you pay is what you are buying, and we will not take a paid feature away during a term you have already paid for. If we ever cannot provide one, the Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out your refund.

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. The price shown before you pay is the full amount you pay. We may change prices for future purchases, but a change never affects a term you have already bought.

The free plan costs nothing. We may change what it includes, and the current limits are always shown on the Pricing page.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card, UPI or banking credentials. Access is granted once Razorpay confirms the payment, as the Shipping & Delivery Policy describes, and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which you should read before paying. If a payment is reversed or charged back after access has been granted, we may pause premium access until the matter is resolved.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, bulk-download, republish or resell questions, explanations or NCERT highlight material, whether for profit or not.
• Share your account credentials, or resell access to your account.
• Attempt to access another user’s data, probe our systems for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service.
• Use automated tools to create accounts, submit answers or extract content.
• Use a display name that is offensive, impersonates someone else or infringes anyone’s rights. Your display name appears on the leaderboard.
• Send or upload anything unlawful, abusive or infringing through any part of the Service.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Unless the breach is serious or urgent, we will first tell you by email what is wrong and give you a fair chance to respond or put it right.

• Serious breaches are content theft or resale, reselling or sharing paid access, attacks on the Service, and unlawful activity. For these we may act without notice, and the remaining premium term is not refunded.
• If we close your account for any other reason, or stop offering the Service, we refund the unused part of your paid term in proportion to the time left.

7. Our content, and what you send us

Questions, explanations, curated NCERT highlights, and the design and code of the Service belong to us or our licensors. Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own exam preparation while your account is active. It does not transfer ownership of anything.

NCERT textbook content referred to in highlight material remains the property of the National Council of Educational Research and Training. Past-year questions originate from the respective examination authorities. See the Disclaimer.

When you report a question or write to us, you allow us to use what you send to fix and improve the Service. Your answers and progress remain yours, and the Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures at our hosting, database or payment providers. If an outage lasts more than three days in a row during your paid term, the Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out what you are owed.

10. Accuracy of content

We take care over the question bank, but mistakes happen. Answer keys and explanations are given in good faith and are not a substitute for your textbook or your teacher. Please use the Report button when you find a mistake. It is the fastest way to get it fixed.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost study time, missed opportunities or exam outcomes, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government action, or failures of the internet, power or our providers’ systems. This does not take away the remedies for long outages in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the current version. We will announce material changes on the site before they take effect, and by email where they affect a paid plan. A change never reduces what you have already paid for during your current term. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, the revised terms apply; if you do not agree to them, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact our Grievance Officer first, using the details on the Contact page. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Katihar, Bihar have jurisdiction over disputes. This does not take away your right as a consumer to file a complaint before the Consumer Commission where you live or work, as the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 allows.

15. General

• If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.
• If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
• We may transfer this agreement to anyone who takes over the Service. We will tell you, and your rights under it continue. You may not transfer your account to someone else.
• We send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to us at contact@yoexam.com.
